Step 2: Tear off the adhesive tape, and align the buckle with the hole.

This weather strip kept the water out of the vent under the hood. It fits snug and looks factory. It didn’t come with instructions. However, it was pretty easy to put together and install. The pieces lined up nicely as shown in pictures. The weather strip slid right into the groove and has stops on each end to keep it in place. No need to cut weather strip. Just push in until it is held by both stops. There are adhesive strips to hold it tight to the hood but it fits so well I’m not sure they were necessary. Very nice product.

Pretty amazing the aftermarket upgrades available for your Tesla!As other reviewers noted: it wouldn’t seem like you need something like this, but it makes a huge difference in keeping rain and water out of your frunk! This one fits much better than I thought it would. It’s easy to install and looks like it came with the vehicle. Highly recommend.

First things first – Packaging was great all components were individually wrapped and boxes well to prevent any damage from happening. Second Thing – No Directions were included in the box, not the end of the world as it was quite easy to install.

The hole cover on the lid is soft rubber on 2018 model 3, can be remove using just hand, installation instructions is the video embedded in the product page.
